A Rajasthan Holiday Package with Delhi and Agra.
Chittorgarh and Bundi are located in the fertile most part of Rajasthan. Both Chittorgarh and Bundi have impressive forts. After the Mogul monuments in Delhi and Agra, these forts have a different tale to tell.
Between Delhi and Agra, you will get to visit monuments of great splendour built by the moguls. Depending upon your arrival time in Delhi, it is possible that you can visit the three main sights of Delhi and they are, the old Delhi, the Humayun’s tomb and the Qutub Minar.
Agra is where you meet the Taj Mahal, the majestic white splendour of mourning love. As you stay the night in Agra, you shall visit the Taj Mahal in the morning at sunrise. After Taj Mahal you can visit Agra Fort and then onwards to Bundi.
It is a long drive, but through a lot of green areas.
Bundi is a small walled city and has remained elusive to the embrace of modernism.
The Bundi Palace has an excellent collection of murals and is a must visit. The town of Bundi is chock-a-block with Havelis in various states of disrepair.
Chittorgarh has an impressive fort and looks pretty solid though it succumbed thrice to the Muslim invaders. Each time, the women of Chittorgarh instead of submitting to the invaders preferred to commit mass suicide by jumping into fire, also known as Jauhar. More about Chittorgarh Fort. Chittorgarh travel shows you this.
Udaipur is the city of Lakes and made very famous by the James Bond movie Octopussy. Udaipur was established by the rulers of Chittorgarh after Chittorgarh Fort fell for the third time.
Udaipur has many palaces and we recommend that you visit the city Palace and the monsoon Palace. The bazaars of Udaipur are quaint and a stroll through them brings in much delight.
Mount Abu is the hill station of Rajasthan. About 3 1/2 thousand feet high, this is a popular destination for honeymooners and tourists from Gujarat. As you can make out, the local commerce is focused on to these Indians rather than the foreigners. It is a delightful change to be a spectator to the shy couples and boisterous families. It is also famous for the Jain temples and has a lake as well.

The fort was built to defend, therefore has only one entrance. The design was such so as to have the only source of water inside the fort.
