Day 1
6 AM? starting, our car picks you up from anywhere in Delhi?and takes you to Jaipur. About 275 Kms, 6 hours drive. Breakfast half way enroute at midway. Feeling adventurous: Try one of the road side dhabas (eateries for locals)
Your first halt is just before you reach Jaipur,?at the magnificient Amber Fort seemingly growing off the hill side. The famed elephant rides happen here.
After Amber Fort, you proceed to Jaipur. On your way you will see Jal Mahal, Hawa Mahal, City Palace and the markets. Spend your time here with delight.
Have lunch. Your driver, to whom you can?mention your food preferences, will probably suggest a suitable restaurant.
Do a bit more of sight seeing.
Check in your hotel/homestay.
Dinner: Your choice - at the hotel or outside in the market.
Sleep.
Day 2
6 AM Check out of the hotel/homestay. Drive to Agra. 275 Kms., 5 hours of travel.
Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri, the Ghost Town. Have Breakfast on road at your convenience.
Proceed to Agra. See Sikandara (tomb of mighty Akbar).
Have Lunch.
Visit Taj Mahal.
Also included but optional visit to marble inlay workshop demonstrating the same fine workmanship that went in building the Taj Mahal and its delicate motifs plus carpet making workshop. Both have shops, if you like to buy. You can tweak the programme. Suggested programme as follows:
